Here is a guide we've placed together to enable the best results... Remember, due to the range of Passport and Visa regulations we cover; this guide covers most differing standards.

The Camera and its positioning .
Our recommendation is a minimum of 3 Mega Pixels. This will be shown on your camera as 3 Mega Pixels or 3MP (or higher).
- The physical level of the camera should be at the same level as the persons head to get a 'straight on' photograph.
- Look through the viewfinder and get the same proportional image as our example above.
The Lighting
Flash can be used, but have the person stand a minimum of 1.5-3 metres away from the wall behind them to avoid heavy shadows.
The Background
It is important that your background behind the subject is as plain as possible, preferably a plain white/crème wall with no pattern or an even colour of a light pastel nature.
Facial Expression, Hair and Glasses
Most regulations require you don't smile. Therefore try to keep your facial muscles relaxed (without frauning).
We request that mouth must be closed on the photograph.
If you have long hair place it behind your ears so that no hair is covering the front of your face above eyebrow level.
We recommend removing glasses to avoid bounce back from the flash.
